Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and networking.
- Extensive experience in Cloud Development.
- Proficiency with writing Terraform from scratch.
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), including deployment management, RBAC, networking, and autoscaling.
- Extensive experience coding Terraform and Kubernetes, not just maintaining them.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure using infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with the Well-Architected Framework (Azure), incorporating best practices for reliability, security, cost-efficiency, and performance.
- Operate and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS), including upgrades, configuration, networking, and security.
- Host and maintain internal developer tooling and shared services within Kubernetes or cloud-native environments.

Our Technology team builds products and services used by 38,000 of us at Whitbread and millions of guests, including an eCommerce website handling £2 billion in transactions per year.
