Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to help build and maintain the bridge between our data and the rest of the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement SQL-first transformation workflows to deploy analytics code. You will ensure the integrity, reliability, and usability of data, enabling stakeholders to make critical data-driven decisions. Your key responsibilities will include creating optimized data pipelines, designing efficient data marts tailored to specific business needs, and understanding complex business requirements to translate them into effective data models for end users.
Description
The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will care deeply about the consistency, accuracy, quality, and trustworthiness of data. Enjoying the design, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure for data collection, management, transformation, and access is crucial. You should possess a solid understanding of ETL tooling for data transformation tasks, data design principles, and dimensional data modeling. Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with query optimization strategies are necessary. Preferred skills include experience with ETL tools such as Informatica IICS, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, SQL Server & Stored Procedures, GitHub, API Integration, Alteryx, Data Visualization, and Automation & Scheduling.
