Requirements
Must:
- Experience in software development of front-end applications and back-end services in C# and VB6 using .NET (Core) with WinForms and ASP.NET
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases, including database design and the creation of robust queries
- Understanding of data serialization techniques including XML, XSLT, XPath, and JSON (desirable)
- Knowledge of Regular Expressions (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to develop Windows installer packages using Advanced Installer (advantageous)
- Electronic and technical background preferred
- Strong communication skills and technical acumen
- Eager to contribute to a dynamic team in the Aviation and related technology sectors
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software in C# following the companys published software development standards
- Maintain software in C#, VB.NET, and VB6 following the companys published software development standards
- Write and maintain software documentation
- Manage the Azure DevOps system used for the code repository and software change records
- Release software to customers
- Identify and fix software defects as described by Engineers or Customers
- Assist in identifying new software technologies and solutions appropriate to the products
- Identify and undertake training to maintain and advance current professional skill set
