Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with previous IT support experience, ideally within education or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments. A strong technical understanding of Microsoft Server, Windows, Office, Active Directory, and Group Policy is essential. Experience with network infrastructure, backups, and diagnostics is required, while knowledge of Apple products is desirable. Candidates must possess a full driving license and be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check. Availability for term-time or part-time work covering 38 school weeks is necessary.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Technician, your role will involve providing IT support across Primary Schools in North West Kent. You will maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, iPads, servers, and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include administering Microsoft servers, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for staff and users, and responding to support requests through our bespoke fault logging system. Additionally, you will undertake IT change requests and perform routine diagnostics and maintenance. Occasional travel to our Head Office in Canterbury for training, meetings, or support will be required.
