Requirements
Must:
- OEM based technical qualification
- Minimum of 4 years working in an IT environment
- Knowledge of Avaya Communication Manager and associated services (AES, Breeze, AMS, SM, SBC)
- Experience in incident/problem control and service requests
- Ability to supervise resources to deliver agreed objectives
- Strong communication skills, both electronic and verbal
- Experience with supplier management and contract negotiation
- Familiarity with security and compliance legislation
- Ability to implement training documentation and deliver training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Support the Telecoms Manager in developing and maintaining the Trusts telephony and mobile infrastructure
- Act as the escalation point for junior team members and assist with incidents and service requests
- Participate in project work such as Voice Recorder upgrades and SIP migrations
- Design procedures for security, recovery, and incident control
- Manage upgrades, patching, and maintenance of voice and data applications
- Ensure integrity and confidentiality of information in line with NHS policy
- Communicate effectively about service changes and support
- Propose and implement improvements to service levels
- Assist in supplier management including evaluating offers and negotiating contracts
- Monitor performance data and report on service quality
