Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience designing and building data platforms and data architectures
- Hands on experience with design and build of cloud data warehouses
- Snowflake experience is desirable, though Redshift or Synapse are also suitable
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
- Strong coding ability in Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience building data infrastructure from scratch
- Comfortable working with both batch and streaming data
- Experience integrating data platforms with microservices and real time systems
Responsibilities
- Design and build a new data platform to support international growth
- Own data models, pipelines, orchestration, and submission workflows
- Work closely with the core Data Engineering platform team
- Transition the platform towards event-driven architecture
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs submitted to regulators
- Tackle complex engineering challenges associated with regulatory reporting across multiple countries
