Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with networking protocols
- Relevant qualifications such as CCNA/CCNP or an IT-related degree
- Experience working with cloud technologies (Intune/Azure)
- Hands-on firewall experience (ideally Palo Alto)
- Experience in setting up networks & switches from scratch
- An understanding of enterprise networks
- Experience working in the education sector (advantageous but not essential)
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and develop the schools IT network including switches, routers, WiFi, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the network
- Plan and deliver networking projects
- Assist with general IT support including end-user support, system administration, and hardware repairs and maintenance
