Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience of working in IT within the education sector for a minimum of 2 years
- Experience with Apple products, including MacOS, iOS, Jamf Pro, Jamf School, and Apple Classroom (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of basic networking protocols, including patching, VLANs, and network troubleshooting
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing workload in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills, suitable for a customer-facing role
Responsibilities
- Provide support to staff and students throughout the school
- Mobile device management
- Set up IT equipment for events, assemblies, exams, etc.
- Manage IT equipment and stock
- Assist with large scale projects
- Escalate higher level issues as necessary
Description
WeDoData is working exclusively with a group of independent schools in Southwest London, including 4 prep schools and a recently opened secondary school. We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to join our team on a permanent basis to provide on-site IT support. This is a great opportunity to work in a reputable group of growing schools, where you can manage your own workload and become the go-to person for IT. We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, free school meals during term time, and opportunities for professional development.
