- Experience in staff management
- Strong knowledge of networks, LAN & WAN
- Budget management skills

- Experience implementing new systems & infrastructure
- Familiarity with VMware
- Proficient in Windows Server
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 direct reports including an IT Manager and 2 technicians
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the trusts IT function
- Provide strategic oversight of the schools IT infrastructure and future IT strategy
- Manage IT projects such as server and software upgrades
- Install new Wi-Fi points and set up IT suites
- Provide server and network support
- Offer desktop and application support
- Deliver end user support throughout the schools
- Manage and deliver IT projects
Description
We are a multi-academy trust in Dorset, comprising a mix of primary and secondary schools, and we are currently seeking a highly experienced IT Services Manager to lead the delivery of IT services across our secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing trust that offers a highly competitive salary of £40 - £45k. The role requires an on-site presence with travel to several sites, so a driving license and access to a car are essential.
