Requirements
Must:
- 3 to 5+ years experience in a QA Engineer or SDET role within Agile engineering teams
- Strong automation experience using C# and .NET
- Experience building, improving or maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience working with REST APIs and tools such as RestSharp
- Experience working with CI pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Comfortable performing manual and exploratory testing where required
- Experience testing desktop applications or complex enterprise software environments
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of release quality and testing strategy
- Interest in using AI tools to improve testing efficiency and engineering workflows
Responsibilities
- Join a cross functional engineering squad responsible for maintaining and enhancing a widely used desktop platform
- Focus on test automation and improving efficiency across the testing process
- Stabilise and expand an existing automation suite containing thousands of tests
- Ensure releases remain reliable and predictable
- Take ownership of test planning and release quality within the team
- Work closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify risks and improve test coverage
- Strengthen overall product quality through proactive testing strategies
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of complex business workflows as needed

We are heavily investing in engineering quality and automation as part of the evolution of our flagship desktop platform, widely used in the insurance and financial services sectors. Our engineering teams operate in a collaborative Agile environment, making a significant impact on testing strategy and delivery confidence. This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week onsite in South London, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
