Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an IT Engineer who has a passion for IT, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning. You should possess strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex IT issues simply. Additionally, you will need to have:
- A HNC / HND or degree in IT, Software Development, or a related field
- Experience in IT or software development roles
- A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and IT security principles
- Familiarity with Windows Server, virtual desktops, SSH, cloud-based management tools, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and BI reporting tools
Responsibilities
As our IT Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing IT support and day-to-day maintenance of systems for all users
- Managing servers (Windows & Ubuntu), Active Directory, virtual machines, backups, and IT documentation
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and network devices (switches, firewalls, printers, laptops/desktops)
- Assisting with software installation, network management, and IT security initiatives
- Developing IT solutions using languages such as PHP, Python, C#.NET Core, and Laravel, while also maintaining databases (SQL Server & MySQL)
- Generating reports and maintaining BI dashboards from our company IT systems
