Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record as an International Field Service Engineer, preferably with hands-on experience in process or packaging machinery in the food, chemicals, or pharmaceutical markets.
- Willingness to be trained to fault find and modify Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineer.
- Ability and willingness to spend up to 50% of time working abroad.
- Consideration for experienced UK Service Engineers or Maintenance Engineers looking to transition into field service roles with international travel.
Responsibilities
- Repair, refurbishment, upgrades, and modification of installed machinery.
- Installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Factory based when not working abroad, primarily in Bedford.
- Overtime paid door to door over 39 hours per week, with occasional weekend work.
- Travel and work abroad, typically one week trips in Europe and worldwide.
