Requirements
Must:
- 10 years of enterprise Windows Infrastructure experience
- Experience managing large-scale endpoint environments (50,000 endpoints)
- In-depth knowledge of Windows endpoint internals and automation
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments
- Capable of end-to-end solution delivery and operational ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and the E5 security suite (desired)
- Familiarity with disk encryption and OS hardening (desired)
- Experience with SCCM, Intune, and Splunk (desired)
- Understanding of platform design, build, deployment, and continuous improvement (desired)
- Familiarity with DevOps/SRE methodologies (desired)
- Experience in an Agile working environment (desired)
- Unix and macOS administration is a plus (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Support the client, a leading Global Financial Services provider, as a Windows Endpoint Security Engineer
- Manage and automate large-scale Windows environments
- Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, OS, network, and storage layers
- Design, build, and support Windows endpoint solutions end-to-end
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively within Agile and DevOps/SRE-aligned teams
- Ensure operational ownership of solutions from architecture through post-production
- Conduct background checks as required before commencing contract
- Occasionally travel as needed for the role
