Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with a few years of experience in platform engineering. You should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with API servers using REST (Swagger, OpenAPI).
- Proficiency in Python Flask REST API consumer models, including HTTP request libraries.
- Familiarity with asynchronous models of system interaction, utilizing pub/sub and messaging with Python Celery, RabbitMQ, and/or Airflow.
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Knowledge of database models using ORM with SQLAlchemy on a MySQL backend, and a strong understanding of both object and relational data models.
- Comfort with code control procedures and associated technologies, such as Git.
- An AWS Practitioner or Solution Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding and experience deploying various AWS services, including OU, VPC, IAM, Route 53, Load balancer, EC2, and EKS.
- Relevant experience with AWS CloudFormation and a working knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Platform Engineer at World Wide Technology, you will maintain and extend a Python and Java codebase that automates the provisioning of AWS accounts and associated infrastructure. Your role will include:
- Automating the provisioning and maintenance processes for AWS accounts and infrastructure.
- Engaging in extensive systems integration with other components within our organization, maintaining a broad perspective beyond just cloud-specific tasks.
