Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Modern Workplace tooling
- Familiarity with endpoint and device management (Intune)
- Understanding of Azure services and cloud-based solutions
- Ability to script or automate processes to improve efficiency
- Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and cloud best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confidence in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Customer-focused with an emphasis on user experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (desirable)
- Microsoft certifications (such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate) or equivalent experience (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Provide high-quality end-user support and resolve Modern Workplace-related issues
- Support and maintain Microsoft Autopilot for device provisioning and lifecycle management
- Manage devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) ensuring policy compliance
- Package, deploy, and maintain software applications, focusing on automation where possible
- Support security and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Enhance collaboration and productivity through Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related tools
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows Virtual Desktop and wider Azure integrations
- Manage mobile devices, including Android devices (particularly Samsung) using Samsung Knox and Apple iOS devices via Apple Business Manager
- Support the delivery and ongoing operation of a secure BYOD environment
- Produce clear documentation and deliver training to users and IT colleagues
Description
We are looking for a Modern Workplace Specialist to join our Group Support team in Lichfield. In this hands-on technical role, you will design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 and endpoint technologies to enable secure, effective collaboration across the organization. You will work closely with colleagues across IT and the wider business, acting as a trusted technical advisor while driving our ongoing digital transformation.
