We are looking for someone with proven experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically in delivering multiple projects, including data-focused initiatives. You should have a strong working knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and modern delivery practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with experience in DevOps tooling and practices, is essential. Ideally, you will have an understanding of data environments including data platforms, data pipelines, analytics, BI, or data governance. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and the capability to influence are crucial. We need someone who is comfortable setting up new processes and structures from scratch, and you should be highly organized with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will establish and develop a new project management function, including governance, reporting standards, and delivery frameworks. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of various IT and data projects using PRINCE2, Agile, and hybrid methodologies. Supporting and coordinating the delivery of data initiatives such as data platform upgrades, analytics improvements, and data governance enhancements will be part of your tasks. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Driving cloud and DevOps initiatives will be essential, ensuring collaboration across development, data engineering, and infrastructure teams. Youll manage risks, issues, financials, dependencies, timelines, and resourcing across multiple projects. Building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is vital to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will champion continuous improvement and help embed a culture of structured, predictable project delivery.
