Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a local government setting.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including highlight reports, exception reports, and change controls.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with data protection, cybersecurity, and GDPR regulations.
- Availability to work 3 days per week (2 days in-office, 1 day remote).
Responsibilities
- I will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring that they meet specified objectives.
- I will develop and maintain detailed project plans and documentation for tracking progress and reporting purposes.
- I will manage budgets and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- I will coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical staff, stakeholders, and external partners, to achieve successful project outcomes.
- I will oversee risk management, change control, and issue resolution throughout the projects I manage.
- I will ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, including data protection and cybersecurity requirements.
Description
This position is a temporary, part-time role with a 3-month contract duration, offering up to £350.00 Umbrella per day depending on experience. We aim for an immediate start, with the application deadline set for Monday, 8th December 2025, and interviews scheduled for Thursday, 11th December 2025.
