Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in test automation framework design
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Skills in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
- Experience in API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Strong capabilities in test planning, estimation, and execution
- Defect management and reporting skills
- Adherence to testing standards and governance
- Previous mentoring and coaching experience with test engineers
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
As a Principal Test Engineer at Vitality, I will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products and features are robust, reliable, and ready for market. My key actions will include leading and implementing the full software test lifecycle, designing and maintaining automation frameworks, delivering accurate test estimations for complex, multi-system projects, and overseeing test execution while ensuring integration with CI/CD pipelines. I will also manage defect triage and resolution, champion adherence to testing standards, mentor and coach test engineers, and engage with stakeholders to align testing with strategic goals.
