Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in a senior infrastructure engineering role, preferably within a global or multi-site SME.
- Expertise in the Microsoft Stack.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Experience in virtualisation and VDI environments (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix).
- Familiarity with hardware such as HPE/Dell servers and storage solutions.
- Knowledge of networking and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of security protocols and asset management.
- Proficient in server operating systems (Windows, Linux - CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our global IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Manage our hybrid cloud environment, focusing on Microsoft Azure and its integrations.
- Ensure the security of our infrastructure and data by managing security controls and working with the Security Operations Centre.
- Maintain our Windows and Linux server estate, along with core Microsoft services and VMware platforms.
- Administer our System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) for global software deployment and updates.
- Manage and maintain our VDI environment to ensure a reliable user experience.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions, particularly using Veeam.
- Provide 3rd line support for complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades and migrations.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

We are a global IT team located in Hammersmith, London, offering a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for conversion to a permanent role.
