Must:
- Expert level understanding of end-to-end architecture, analytics design, and project delivery lifecycles
- Experience in client-facing environments and navigating governance forums within the architecture landscape
- Proven breadth of experience and accountability across various types of technology deliveries (e.g., digital transformation, application modernization, product development, AI solutions)
- Experience in architecture, engineering, integration, AI, and cloud (AWS & Azure) technologies
- Deep understanding of delivering high-quality, reliable, scalable, secure, and observable software solutions
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, design patterns, DevSecOps tooling, continuous delivery, test automation, and monitoring
- Ability to manage and lead large/complex technical workstreams within multi-supplier engagements
- Strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders, negotiate, influence, and shape technology outcomes
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong commercial and business awareness to drive growth across accounts through pre-sales activities
- Ability to prioritize time across multiple engagements
- Proven track record in managing, coaching, and developing junior team members
- 10+ years industry experience across architecture, engineering, cloud technologies, AI, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge and professional certification in leading digital transformation technologies
- Hands-on experience in solution architecture and technical leadership across enterprise-grade solutions
- Experience in delivery management across large/complex technical workstreams
- Understanding of technical and business constraints in large-scale digital and cloud projects
- Practical engineering background to lead development teams and resolve technical issues
- Involvement in the tech community and awareness of latest trends and technologies
Responsibilities
- Advise, own, and drive Version 1’s capabilities both internally and with customers
- Perform an Architecture Principal role during client engagements focused on Cloud technology (Azure & AWS)
- Deliver excellent advisory services and engage with customers effectively
- Manage hands-on delivery and project delivery according to client needs and technology stack
- Provide strategic consulting and advisory services including technology roadmap and business process transformation
- Support sales team and engage in new business development activities
- Qualify new opportunities and assist with bid writing and tender responses
- Facilitate high-quality, reliable, and scalable technical solution deliveries
- Drive technical excellence and identify as well as mitigate risks early into projects
- Assist in the production of specifications including high-level and low-level designs
- Deliver mentoring and coaching to junior team members and foster cross-team collaboration
