Requirements
Must:
- 7 years experience in Information Technology with 5 years of DevOps experience focused on Microsoft Azure
- Proven experience delivering the full development lifecycle of Azure API Management (APIM)
- Ability to define and implement advanced XML policies (throttling, caching, JWT validation)
- Experience integrating APIM with backend services and setting up the Developer Portal
- Implementation experience with Application Gateway and WAF (Web Application Firewall) configuration
- Demonstrated ability to build secure applications (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, VNET integration)
- Proficiency in building automated build and release pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
- Strong Terraform skills for infrastructure provisioning
- Must be able to independently craft High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud adoption framework for Azure
- One or more Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert)
- Experience implementing modern CI/CD processes for releasing software
- Broad experience building and configuring Azure IaaS and PaaS services
- Strong communication skills to liaise between app development and infrastructure teams
Responsibilities
- Drive the secure implementation of application infrastructure using Azure technologies
- Deliver the full development lifecycle of Azure API Management (APIM)
- Define and implement XML policies within Azure API Management
- Integrate APIM with backend services and set up the Developer Portal
- Implement Application Gateway and configure WAF settings
- Build secure applications following best practices in security and design
- Create automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform
- Craft detailed High-Level and Low-Level Design documents for client sign-off
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical constraints into business insights
