Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has a level of understanding and competence suitable for managing the running of all computer systems and networks. This includes experience with hybrid and cloud-based systems, network management, Active Directory, switching, firewalls, and VOIP. The ideal individual will be an engaging team player with strong analytical abilities, organized and methodical problem-solving skills, and the capability to work under deadlines. A degree or relevant industry-standard education is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure that our computer systems, server infrastructure, and communication networks are tailored to meet the business needs of the Society. You will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of these systems, working on-site in Stockport for at least two days each week, with the possibility of additional days depending on business requirements.
Description
We offer a competitive package ranging from £52,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Our benefits include a pension scheme with employer contributions, salary exchange for pensions, a death in service benefit, 25 days of holiday (plus statutory bank holidays), increasing to 27 days after two years, health cash plan, healthcare insurance, a birthday holiday, a cycle-to-work scheme, and retail discounts.
