Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates who hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should possess Cisco Certification, with a minimum of CCNP. Ideally, we prefer candidates with Expert Level or Architect level qualifications. Additionally, you should have over 10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role. Deep expertise in Cisco technologies, including switching, routing, firewalls, and security solutions is essential. Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and Cisco Umbrella cloud security will be beneficial. We also expect an expert-level understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, QoS, etc. You should have proven ability to manage and optimize VPN infrastructure at scale and extensive hands-on experience with Cisco as well as other technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and other enterprise networking solutions. Additionally, you should demonstrate skills in Next Generation Firewall technology and have proven experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and hybrid environments. A strong knowledge of network security principles, tools, and technologies (IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC) is also required. Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.) along with excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

In your role as the Network Engineering Manager, you will lead the deployment and management of large-scale, mission-critical network environments, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will define and enforce best practices for network security, resilience, and performance. As the team leader, you will oversee a team of offshore skilled Network Engineers and network support staff, exhibiting strong project management skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will take ownership of the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and other networking components, ensuring robust and secure remote connectivity through effective VPN solutions and Cisco Umbrella integration. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and digital transformation initiatives. Moreover, troubleshooting complex network issues and leading root cause analysis will be part of your responsibilities, along with driving network automation and orchestration efforts using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
