Requirements
Must:
- Good knowledge of IT systems and IP networking
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop/server environments
- Logical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK
- Desirable: Experience in software or release testing
- Desirable: Familiarity with SQL Server or virtualisation platforms
- Desirable: Knowledge of CCTV, VMS, PSIM, or integrated security systems
- Desirable: Technical support experience for software or networked systems
Responsibilities
- Testing new ViewScape software releases before deployment
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
- Investigating software, integration, and customer-reported issues
- Working with developers to recreate faults and verify fixes
- Supporting customers and integrators remotely and on site
- Assisting with system configuration, commissioning, and upgrades
- Working with Windows Server, SQL, virtual machines, and IP networks
- Testing integrations with CCTV, VMS, access control, and alarm systems
- Producing support notes, test records, and technical documentation
Description
We at Veracity Systems are looking for a Support, Test & Deployment Engineer to join our team behind ViewScape, our integrated command and control platform. This technical role is perfect for someone with a strong IT background who enjoys problem-solving and wishes to develop specialist knowledge in integrated control-room and security systems. This position offers great opportunities for hands-on experience across software testing, technical support, system integration, and deployment, with clear pathways for progression into a specialist technical role within our business. We provide benefits such as casual dress, free on-site parking, and competitive pay ranging from £25,000 to £29,000 per year. This position requires in-person work.
