Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of Finance, HR, Supply Chain & Logistics solutions, ideally within a Port
- Previous managerial experience with strong leadership skills
- Background in coaching and developing talent
- Experience in developing process automation through the use of technology
- Ability to lead large-scale complex IT programs/projects
- Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented
- Knowledge of new technologies in the specific field
- Experience in planning and managing IT programs including budgeting and resource management
- Experience managing system integrators to deliver business outcomes
- Willingness to travel around the Group as required
- Firm belief in customer service and core company values of openness, honesty, teamwork, and respect
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders on strategic planning and defining a roadmap of continuous improvement
- Produce comprehensive business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, user and system requirements
- Lead one or more teams of colleagues and/or external third parties/contractors
- Engage effectively with stakeholders to align expectations and address needs
- Perform software selection supported by Enterprise and Technical Architecture reviews
- Liaise with project managers in developing delivery plans and tracking portfolio status
- Identify long-term opportunities and challenges, developing plans aligned with organisational goals
Description
We are a critical provider of UK infrastructure with a revenue of £20 billion, looking for an ERP Business Solutions Manager (SAP) to join our team. This strategic role combines solution architecture and team leadership, ensuring alignment between technology delivery and business objectives. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £100K, along with excellent bonuses and pension packages. The role will involve a mix of remote work and travel to our clients offices in London or Southampton.
