Requirements
Must:

- S3
- Athena
- Glue
- Lambda
- DynamoDB
- OpenSearch
- CloudFormation
- API Gateway
- ECS
- CloudWatch
- Fluency in Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, TypeScript
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB
- Strong understanding of security principles in AWS, including:
- RBAC and principle of least privilege
- Storing credentials securely using Secrets Manager/KMS
- Handling sensitive data securely
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of Amazon Step Functions for complex workflows
- Familiarity with Docker and ECS (desirable)
- Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps concepts
- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools like Datadog
- Familiarity with Angular framework (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Work on a greenfield project as a permanent hybrid Senior Full Stack Java Developer
- Collaborate closely with team members within a DevOps culture
- Guide team members and share knowledge when necessary
- Develop and maintain applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks
- Implement AWS services and architecture to meet project needs
- Manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Work with databases and ensure security best practices are followed
- Implement complex workflows using Amazon Step Functions
- Monitor and debug applications to ensure quality and performance
- Participate in agile development processes and team meetings
Description
We are seeking a Permanent Hybrid Senior Full Stack Java Developer with SC clearance for a greenfield project based in Leeds, requiring onsite presence 2-3 days a week.
