Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in full-stack development (Python or Ruby on Rails, React/Next.js or React Native)
- Prior experience liaising with product teams and business stakeholders
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and automated testing
- Ability to design and deliver complex features from scratch and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Expert-level proficiency in cloud-native environments and scalable systems
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade code at pace
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A team-first approach to problem-solving and organizational growth
Responsibilities
- Drive full-lifecycle development from initial design to production deployment
- Define and scale our modern, cloud-native stack
- Partner with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and technical leadership
Description
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end feature development and architectural design in our high-velocity engineering team. This hybrid role allows for three days a week in the office and two days at home post-training. Based in Manchester, we offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £65,000. We prioritize high-impact delivery, efficiency, autonomy, and rigorous engineering standards.
