Requirements
Must:
- 5-7 years of overall experience
- Proficiency in core AWS services such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch
- Fluency in Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, and SQL
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB
- Strong understanding of security principles in AWS, including RBAC and least privilege
- Experience with CI/CD and building delivery pipelines
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of workflow management services like Amazon Step Functions
- Experience with Docker and ECS
- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools such as Datadog
- Good understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts
- Familiarity with the Angular framework
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of a greenfield project
- Work onsite 2-3 days a week in Leeds
- Collaborate within a DevOps culture focusing on security
- Build and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Implement and maintain core AWS services
- Develop applications using Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, and TypeScript
- Handle SQL and NoSQL database management
- Ensure adherence to security principles while handling sensitive data
- Implement complex workflows using Amazon Step Functions
- Monitor and debug applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members to enhance project outcomes
