Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within complex financial services environments
- Domain knowledge in Retail Banking products including Unsecured loans, Personal Accounts banking & savings, and Bonds
- Experience in Business Segmentation for Retail, business banking, and private sectors
- Familiarity with Onboarding processes for Personal accounts
- Knowledge of Core Banking products and related services essential to bank operations
- Proficiency in Domain driven design with working knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, and ArchiMate
- Proven experience in defining & documenting As-Is & Target Architecture
- Experience with defining and evolving RESTful APIs following best practices for scalability, versioning, and documentation
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Ability to produce clear functional architecture and design logical components
- Experience working with engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical designs and architecture
- Ability to review designs for architectural integrity and compliance with standards
- Understanding of creating architectures aligned with IT principles and standards, following architecture governance processes
Responsibilities
- Define and document As-Is & Target Architecture while working closely with stakeholders
- Balance business outcomes with long-term architecture strategies
- Produce clear functional architecture and define interactions between systems
- Take charge of decommissioning and archival initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align technical designs with the published architecture
- Conduct peer reviews of designs produced by team members to ensure compliance
- Develop practical, workable architectures that adhere to bank governance processes
