Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of vehicle thermal systems, with knowledge of PT or thermal refrigeration being essential. You should have the ability to clearly articulate problems and translate them into actionable tasks. Experience in stakeholder communication is crucial, where you can balance technical details with program-level impact. We value discipline in task ownership and delivery accountability. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a motivated, assertive, and collaborative team approach. Familiarity with Agile principles is beneficial, although deep expertise in Agile is not required. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, and experience in vehicle climate control systems or thermal management. Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Systems Engineer in the automotive sector is also desirable.
Responsibilities
As the Product Owner for our Climate Team, you will own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with program goals. You will translate technical challenges in vehicle thermal systems into well-defined requirements and deliverables. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key to understanding program timing and communicating the impact of changes on delivery. You will ensure effective cross-functional communication between engineering, program management, and service teams. We expect you to drive disciplined task ownership and follow-through, ensuring timely delivery of commitments. Supporting decision-making by providing clear problem articulation and solution trade-offs is also part of your role. Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous improvement in processes and team collaboration.
