We are seeking a talented Netscaler SME / Citrix Expert with proven experience in large enterprise or banking environments. Candidates should possess expertise in Citrix Netscaler ADC/Gateway and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, with a preference for knowledge in Citrix Cloud. A strong understanding of load balancing, GSLB, LDAP integration, SSL certificates, and application delivery is essential. Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls is also required. Experience in security and compliance within financial institutions, along with strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, is necessary. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are a must. Additional certifications (CCA-V, CCP-V, CCP-N) and experience with technologies like F5, Azure, VMware, or other application delivery solutions will be viewed favorably.

Responsibilities
In this role, I will entrust you with designing, configuring, and maintaining our Citrix Netscaler (ADC/Gateway) infrastructure to ensure secure application delivery. You will act as our subject matter expert for Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and troubleshoot any performance issues, latency, and connectivity problems in the Citrix/Netscaler environments. Optimizing Netscaler load-balancing, traffic management, high availability, and SSL offloading will be part of your daily tasks. You will implement security policies, multi-factor authentication, and access controls for our banking systems. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with network, security, and application teams to guarantee a seamless user experience and perform upgrades, patches, health checks, and capacity planning. Documenting architecture, configurations, standards, and operational procedures will also be essential, as will supporting incident, change, and problem management processes according to ITIL practices.

Description
This position is a hybrid role located in Sheffield, Birmingham, or Leeds, requiring three days a week onsite. The contract is for six months and falls inside IR35, with a compensation of £500 per day. We are excited to find a highly skilled individual to join our team and support our major banking client in managing secure, high-performance Citrix and Netscaler environments.
