Requirements

- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of applied experience as an API engineer.
- Strong experience in API design and creating architectural artifacts such as gap analysis, low-level designs, and data models.
- Over 5 years of engineering experience in Back End microservices application development, application security, authentication development, and middleware.
- More than 8 years of programming experience in Java, with knowledge of Go and Rust as a plus.
- Expertise in JVM tuning and diagnostics for application troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in distributed system design, including microservices and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability technologies including Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kiali, and OpenTelemetry.

- I remain current on technical and professional advancements and business strategies related to my area of responsibility.
