AI Specialist - Leeds

- Proven experience applying deep technical expertise across AI, ML, LLMs, agentic AI, and applied AI engineering - Experience designing, evaluating, and governing multi-agent systems - Ability to benchmark LLM performance, evaluate model choices, run structured behavioral testing, and interpret model outputs - Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, ethical risk, regulatory expectations, and mitigation strategies - Understanding of cloud-native AI solutions with proven experience delivering on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud - Ability to engineer and optimize RAGs, including vector database design and embedding strategies - Strong understanding of data engineering, governance, lineage, data quality, and privacy frameworks - Experience designing secure, resilient, and scalable AI solutions with embedded security-by-design - Ability to challenge solution designs, model selections, and vendor proposals using evidence-based critique - Excellent communication skills for presenting complex AI concepts to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to operate effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous technical environments - Experience mentoring and embedding repeatable best-practice patterns across teams - Excellent stakeholder management and senior-level engagement skills - Commercial awareness and a value-driven mindset - Active use of professional networks for continuous skills and expertise development
