Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Data Solutions Lead with the following qualifications:
- Expertise in Databricks, specifically with experience on AWS or Azure.
- Strong skills in Python and SQL, particularly in logistics and delivery optimization.
- A solid background in solution design and business engagement.
- Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and Fargate is beneficial.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field; a Master's degree is preferred. Candidates should have around 8 years of experience in data engineering and leadership.
- Experience with Spark workloads, data modeling, and pipeline optimization.
- Strong mentoring abilities, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and proficiency in technical documentation.
- Familiarity with security standards such as NIST and PCI, as well as ticketing systems like JIRA.
Responsibilities
As the Data Solutions Lead, I will:
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into effective data solutions and designs.
- Lead solution design and strategy, ensuring alignment with both business goals and technical feasibility.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand platform requirements and turn them into actionable plans.
- Guide teams on best practices and technical strategies while providing mentorship.
- Contribute to technical delivery as needed, which may include creating demos and proofs of concept.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of our data solutions.
Description
