Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience as a Test Engineer
- Hands-on manual testing and regression testing experience
- Experience testing .NET applications and ideally Power Apps
- Solid experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for tickets, test execution, and defect management
- Demonstrable experience setting up test automation from scratch (frameworks, structure, approach)
- Hands-on Playwright experience (or strong automation background with the ability to ramp up quickly)
- Comfortable working in Agile teams and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Picking up and managing testing tickets via Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Testing against defined acceptance criteria
- Manual and regression testing
- Creating and running test scripts
- Supporting Agile ceremonies and ways of working
- Implementing a greenfield automation approach: establishing frameworks, standards, and automated regression packs using Playwright
Description
We are collaborating with an NHS organisation seeking an experienced Test Engineer for a short-term contract role. You will work fully remote and support an ongoing project involving .NET applications and Power Apps within an Agile delivery environment. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to quality improvement through test automation initiatives. Our contract runs until the end of May 2026, with the possibility of extension.
