Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience operating as a senior SharePoint SME across on-premise and cloud-based Azure environments.
- Strong experience managing and supporting SQL Server environments, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with SQL databases and Microsoft Azure services.
- Solid understanding of SSO, MFA and identity integrations within Microsoft environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to operate at senior technical levels.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on continuous service improvement.
- Experience mentoring or leading technical team members.
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior SME for SharePoint and SQL platforms, providing expert technical leadership across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.
- Lead platform upgrades, migrations, deployments and performance optimisation initiatives.
- Manage and optimise SQL databases supporting SharePoint and wider business applications, including performance tuning and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders to design and deliver robust platform solutions.
- Integrate SharePoint with SQL, SSO, MFA and Azure services to support secure and scalable architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint, SQL and web platform issues.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers, promoting best practice and platform standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and CMDB records to support service continuity and governance.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance platform performance, resilience and security.
