Requirements
Must:
- I require 5-7 years of experience in a hands-on IT support position.
- You should have a broad technical skill set across Windows Server, networking, backups, NAS drives, and M365.
- A strong understanding of infrastructure management, data storage, and recovery is essential.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
- I need someone who is self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of driving IT improvements independently.
- Familiarity with security best practices, patching, and system monitoring is important.
Responsibilities
- You will provide 1st–3rd line support to internal users while overseeing all infrastructure and systems.
- You'll manage, monitor, and improve backups, NAS drives, file storage, and disaster recovery processes.
- Leading infrastructure modernization and strengthening IT security across the business will be a key part of your role.
- You will take ownership of MSP relationships and escalate issues when necessary.
- I expect you to recommend and implement efficiency improvements, technical best practices, and system upgrades.
- You will act as the go-to technical authority for IT operations, ensuring reliability and business continuity.
- Confident communication with senior stakeholders and effective management of expectations will be essential.
Description

This is a hands-on role suitable for an IT professional who is confident working autonomously, thrives on solving problems, and desires full responsibility for shaping IT strategy. The salary range for this position is £35,000 to £45,000, and we offer a hybrid work environment.
