Requirements
Must:
- Strong 3rd line network troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments
- Proven experience designing and implementing multi-site LAN and WAN networks
- Cisco switching expertise including Nexus 3k and 9k
- Strong routing protocol knowledge BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
- Firewall experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet
- Solid understanding of Layer 7 security and network security principles
- Experience with Aruba wireless deployments at scale
- Knowledge of MPLS, VPNs, and QoS implementation and troubleshooting
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds NPM and NTA, Cisco Prime
- Exposure to F5 LTM, GTM, APM and BIG IP
- Experience with Azure, AWS, O365 and cloud connectivity
- Knowledge of Azure ExpressRoute and hybrid networking
- Experience with VMware NSX, SDN and micro segmentation
- ITIL certification or equivalent understanding
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- CCNP, CCIE or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd line support, troubleshooting and resolving network incidents via ticketing systems
- Own and maintain global WAN and LAN infrastructure during weekend coverage
- Ensure network availability, performance, and reliability across the estate
- Support and implement new network technologies and project initiatives
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors for root cause analysis and resolution
- Maintain and produce technical documentation and implementation plans
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions
- Ensure compliance with security standards, controls, and regulatory requirements

We are a global professional services organization seeking a Weekend Network Engineer to join our enterprise IT Platforms team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role focuses on 3rd line support and managing critical network infrastructure across WAN and LAN environments, ensuring stability during weekend operations.
