Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET development, including proficiency in ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API. You should have proven leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams in a Software Development Manager or similar role. Strong expertise in C#, the .NET Framework, as well as front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue) is essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design is expected, along with experience using ORM tools like Entity Framework Core. You should also be proficient in Git and agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are a must, and ideally, you will hold a degree or relevant qualification in computer science or a related field.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead, motivate, and manage the development team, promoting accountability and technical excellence. I will oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for .NET applications, ensuring robust coding standards, security, and performance optimization. I will implement and enforce peer code reviews and establish unit testing frameworks. Collaborating with business stakeholders, I will translate requirements into technical deliverables while managing project timelines, resources, and delivery. Additionally, I will provide technical guidance and lead design authority reviews while staying current with emerging Microsoft technologies and recommending their adoption.
