Requirements
Must:
- 3–5 years experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar
- Strong T-SQL skills and experience optimising queries
- Proven experience in performance tuning and database optimisation
- Ability to work closely with development teams
- Exposure to Azure SQL or cloud environments (desirable)
- Experience working with multiple databases in a production environment
Responsibilities
- SQL Server administration across production and non-production environments
- Performance tuning, optimisation, and query refactoring
- Writing efficient T-SQL and analysing execution plans
- Supporting and collaborating with developers to improve database performance
- Contributing to Azure migration and cloud optimisation initiatives
- Managing backups, security, and database maintenance

We are a well-established financial services organisation undergoing a major cloud transformation, currently moving our SQL Server estate into Azure. This brand-new role offers you the opportunity to take real ownership as our dedicated DBA leading this migration journey.
