Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including version migrations
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes
- Ability to develop robust SQL and database solutions
- Experience with Terraform, Git, and PowerShell is a plus
- Valid Security Clearance required for the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement database solutions for various projects
- Lead migrations of BI stacks from older SQL versions to newer ones
- Conduct code reviews and participate in peer reviews
- Configure and maintain SQL Server databases
- Optimize database performance and support recovery processes
- Support the full data lifecycle in an agile environment
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
- Collaborate effectively with the database team on various tasks
Description
We are a dedicated team seeking an experienced SQL DBA to join our organization for a 6-month contract. Our office is located in central London, and we offer a collaborative work environment where you will be required to be onsite 2 days a week. You will be part of exciting projects, with opportunities for growth and learning. We require candidates to hold valid Security Clearance to ensure smooth onboarding.
