Requirements
Must:
- Proven background working as a Network Architect within a global organisation, ideally in a regulated environment such as Legal, Insurance, or Financial Services
- Deep technical understanding of Network Infrastructure: Cisco, FortiGate, Forti ADC, Aruba SD-WAN, Palo Alto
- End-to-end network design and deployment experience across both on-premise environments and Microsoft Azure
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to design solutions that align with business requirements and expectations
- Experience leading Design Authority processes, covering solution design and governance
- Responsibility for producing and reviewing high-quality technical documentation
- Collaboration with Enterprise and Security Architects to ensure full compliance of the proposed solutions
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in shaping and delivering the Network Modernisation programme
- Lead the design and implementation of network solutions that meet business requirements
- Conduct thorough reviews of network designs to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborate with team members to produce and refine technical documentation
- Engage with stakeholders to align network solutions with enterprise architecture and security standards
- Work on-site in Glasgow 3 days per week to facilitate collaboration and oversight
