We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with proven experience in full stack development using C#, .NET, and modern JavaScript frameworks. A strong understanding of web application architecture and high-availability environments is essential. You should have hands-on experience with load balancing and request routing technologies, ideally with NetScaler or similar. Proficiency in managing and deploying web applications across multiple servers, along with a good knowledge of SQL Server and database performance optimization, is required. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or equivalent source control systems, as well as an understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience in implementing automated deployments, are important. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a collaborative approach to development, are necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web-based applications using C#, .NET, and JavaScript frameworks. Your role includes supporting and enhancing our high-availability environment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work with NetScaler for load balancing, SSL offloading, and application-level routing logic. Managing and maintaining our source control systems and version management will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with internal teams to design, test, and deploy new software features, and contribute to the planning and rollout of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Additionally, troubleshooting technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of critical business systems, documenting development processes, and maintaining clear, reusable code standards will be key aspects of your job.
Description
We are based in Newport, with a requirement for being onsite one day per week. We offer a competitive salary range of £37,000 - £45,000 for this permanent role.
