Requirements
Must:
- I require a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT applications or ERP support.
- A working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts is essential.
- Understanding of ERP systems and key processes such as inventory, BOM, and work orders is important.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are necessary.
- Excellent communication skills are required to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desired.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to the office in Warwick are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to act as the first point of contact for system and application support queries.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve ERP and SQL-related issues in collaboration with senior team members.
- Assisting with system configuration, upgrades, and integrations will be part of your role.
- You will support data cleansing, validation, and migration activities.
- Writing and optimizing basic SQL queries and reports to support business operations will be your responsibility.
- I would appreciate your collaboration with various departments to document workflows and user guides.
- You will contribute to ongoing IT projects, including process automation and system enhancement initiatives.
- Participating in testing, training, and documentation of new system functionality will also be required.
- You will monitor system performance and escalate technical issues where necessary.
Description
I am offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in IT application or ERP support to build their technical expertise across SQL, reporting, and system configuration, working under the mentorship of a highly experienced senior analyst. This hands-on position focuses on system support, data analysis, and ERP process improvement. You will gain exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and other business-critical systems while contributing to future digital transformation projects. The salary for this position is between £33,000 – £36,000 per annum and is based in Warwick (office-based).
