We are seeking candidates with strong experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and low-code automation. Familiarity with ServiceNow, including the management of developers and integrations, is essential. You should have hands-on experience with RPA tools such as UiPath. We value leadership and people management skills; the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team is important. Candidates must demonstrate strong process, governance, and documentation skills. Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities are a must. Hands-on development experience is desirable, with a balanced approach to technical work and leadership.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build, lead, and grow our brand-new automation support team from scratch. You’ll transition automation support in-house from third-party providers and oversee Power Platform, ServiceNow, and RPA solutions, delivering hands-on support initially. It will be your responsibility to maintain existing automations by resolving incidents and problem records within agreed SLAs. You'll define and implement governance, processes, and documentation for automation support, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that automation meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for new automations to drive cost savings, manage team performance against SLA/KPI targets, and act as the escalation point for complex issues.
Description
We are excited to offer a permanent remote role as an Automation Support Lead with a salary of £51,000 and a bonus of up to 15%. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of automation support, shaping the team, processes, and governance from the ground up while driving innovation across our business. Initially, you will work directly with Power Platform, ServiceNow, and RPA solutions, delivering small-scale automations and supporting workflows, before focusing on strategic leadership, process improvement, and long-term team management.
