Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record as a Network Architect within a global enterprise environment, ideally in a regulated sector such as Legal, Insurance, or Financial Services
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of network infrastructure technologies, including Cisco, FortiGate, Forti ADC, SD-WAN, and Palo Alto
- Demonstrable experience in end-to-end network design and implementation across both on-premise environments and Microsoft Azure
- Experience producing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation
- Solution-focused mindset with the ability to design solutions that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
- Experience leading Design Authority activities, including solution design, governance, and assurance
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architects to ensure compliance with organizational standards and security requirements
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a major Network Modernisation programme
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align network designs with business objectives
- Lead the design and implementation of network architectures and solutions
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Ensure solutions are compliant with organizational standards and security requirements
- Conduct Design Authority activities to govern and assure network solutions
- Work onsite in Glasgow 3 days per week as required
Description
We are a global organization currently undertaking a major Network Modernisation programme and are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our team. This role offers an immediate start, and interview slots are available in early January 2026. The position will require you to work onsite in Glasgow three days per week. Please note that the successful candidate will need to undergo background checks, including Right to Work, Reference, and Certification checks, which may take up to 4 weeks.
