Requirements
Must:
- Active or recently lapsed SC clearance
- Extensive hands-on experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows (GitHub)
- Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code experience, particularly with Terraform
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve cloud capability
- Experience in SRE or live production support is beneficial but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Assist with the migration of applications and services into Azure
- Support teams in applying the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Design, build, and enhance automated deployment pipelines
- Develop and maintain IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform, Artifactory, and Backstage
- Act as a senior technical escalation point across delivery, security, and engineering teams
- Provide cloud platform support, including incident resolution and troubleshooting
- Coach and mentor junior engineers, encouraging DevOps best practices
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to ensure successful delivery
Description
We are a large organization undergoing a significant Azure cloud transformation and are looking for a senior-level Azure DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of a modern, secure, and highly automated cloud platform. This contract role is hybrid, based in London, and ideal for a hands-on DevOps specialist with deep Azure expertise and a strong Infrastructure-as-Code background.
