Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Managed Service Provider or similar role
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent vendor certification in Enterprise technologies
- Strong understanding of network, security, or collaboration technologies
- Excellent networking diagnostic skills
- Good communicator with a natural aptitude for dealing with people
- Logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting technical support issues
Responsibilities
- Provide expert level support to all clients and act as an internal point of escalation for all support-related incidents where required
- Troubleshoot and diagnose all network or security-related incidents
- Write monthly Technical Customer MSA reviews from templates
- Effectively log and analyze faults on VCG Ticketing system Autotask
- Own and prioritize Priority 1 case issues
- Manage third-party remote hands for onsite support cases in line with customer SLAs
- Own and manage third-party TAC to completion, including PSS support
- Follow incident management and request fulfillment processes detailed in the Technical Services manual
- Maintain the required level of software versions for customer equipment, including scheduling out-of-hours software patching and upgrades
- Keep technical knowledge of all supported products up to date and undertake training when necessary
- Participate in the Technical Services on-call rota, usually one complete week in every four to handle escalation calls between 7pm and 7am
