Requirements
Must:
- Strong SQL Server experience (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, stored procedures, functions, triggers)/n- Data warehouse architecture, build and maintenance/n- Excellent communication skills and ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders at all levels/n- Degree in Computer Science or STEM subject/n- Comfortable working 4 days per week onsite in Vauxhall/n- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks (desirable)/n- Python or any other relevant language (desirable)/n- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the evolving data platform for the organization/n- Act as both a senior engineer and strategic data partner/n- Design solutions that support operational and long-term business goals/n- Play a vital role in the migration to Microsoft Fabric/n- Build and optimize the existing SQL Server-based data warehouse environment/n- Support reporting via SSRS/Microsoft Power BI/n- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and other teams across the business/n- Travel occasionally to France and Germany as required
