Requirements
Must:
- Degree in electronic engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial automation, systems engineering, or software development environments
- Strong experience in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3 standards)
- Experience with platforms such as CODESYS (or similar)
- Ability to design and implement complex control systems involving PLCs, sensors, and actuators
- Experience with real-time system debugging, control loop tuning, and signal processing
- Familiarity with telematics, HMI integration, or vehicle/system communication tools (e.g. CAN-based tools)
- Strong understanding of system architecture and integration
- Experience maintaining documentation such as wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and I/O configurations
- Ability to follow structured engineering processes and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate software into wider electrical and mechanical architectures
- System programming, debugging, testing, and optimisation
- Ensure reliability and performance across all applications
- Contribute to system improvements, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Support the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions aligned with industry standards
